Synopsis:
Lavey and Felson ( Cage and Perlman ) are 14th century Crusaders who return to their devastated homeland at the peak of the Black Plague. The two knights are then commanded to move a charged magician ( Claire Foy ) to a remote abbey. This is where the priests do the rituals which they think will put a stop to the devastation.
Joining Lavey and Felson are the priest Debelzaq ( Stephen Campbell More ), the mourning knight Eckhardt ( Ulrich Thomsen ), the itinerant swindler Hagamar ( Stephen Graham ), and the headstrong youth dreaming to become a knight Kay ( Robert Sheehan ). But the entourage faces the cold forest as they complete the task.
